Patch Cover designed to be used as an adhesive holding solution for the FSL2 (Freestyle Libre 2) sensor. The patches are single-use, non-sterile medical devices. They are indicated for diabetic patients with glucose sensors.

The patches are extremely comfortable to wear and hold well. You can't tear them off, but with these patches you don't have to worry.

Very good, but reinforced during heavy manual work with a slightly larger Omnifix glue, cut in a rounded shape, which guarantees hold for 15 days.

Perfect! Held the sensor in place for 14 days without a hitch; just a detachment at the top after 10 days, but this didn't affect the sensor at all.
No allergy to glue (whereas many devices usually trigger redness and/or itching).

I bought beige and tattoo motifs, I don't know if it's the same product but the beige holds up well for 15 days, it's top notch, the tattoo always comes off before ....

Excellent product. The only precaution to take is to make sure there are no creases during installation, then everything will be fine for up to two weeks before replacing the sensor. I recommend it.

It's expensive for what it is. It should be covered by abbott; that would save them the expense of sending replacement sensors; but, annotated has already removed the wipe from every box; I feel for them, the profits certainly weren't enough 😪

Thank you for your feedback. As far as prices are concerned, pharmacies are free to set their own prices. Our patches are covered by some mutual insurance companies, so we advise you to ask your insurance company.
The patch lasts from 7 to 14 days, depending on our patients. To maximise adhesion to your skin, make sure you do not have any oily substances on it (creams, lotions, oils, superfatted soaps).
We also recommend waiting 45 to 60 minutes before swimming, showering or exercising.
Before applying the patch, you can warm it carefully between your hands to activate the heat-sensitive glue.
Storing patches in a warm environment, of 30° or more, can alter the glue in the patch.

Our product is allergen-free and does not cause allergies or skin reactions. It is a medical device available in pharmacies and on our website.
In your comment, it says that the patch was put in place the day before, in which case you should wait until your blood glucose sensor has been removed.
If the patch does not last the 14 days, please hold your sensor in place while gently peeling off the patch.

I'm on my 3rd, took beige then tatoo. Great design, good adhesion (started to come off 2 days before the end). Following numerous reactions to the glue on the plasters/tegaderm.... So far so good with the patches 😉
A very good product with maximum effectiveness for up to 14 days. The only downside is that the protective device can only be removed once. For optimum installation by a single person, the ideal solution would be to have a central piece that can be removed to fit the sensor and then a part that can be removed all around it in one or two operations to stick it all in place. Otherwise, with only one hand and sometimes the "left" hand, the result is not optimum. Thank you for your help.

Hello, this patch is really very good, it's by far the best solution of all the protection products I've tested. BUT it's true that it's hard to get the perfect fit if you have to put it on yourself. The addition of the tongue is a good idea, but I'm afraid it's still not enough. The solution given by Pascal LHOTE (a central piece that can be removed to fit the sensor and then a part that can be removed all around in one or two operations to glue it in place) is interesting.

Initially sceptical, I decided to put this patch on! It's great, whether in the shower or in the sea, it lasted all 14 days. I also agree with Pascal LHOTTE on the fact that there should be 1 central piece to stick on the sensor and the other part to stick all around...because when we're alone, it's a bit awkward to put on...Thank you.
Hello. Is there an easy way to remove the sticker from the non-stick pad? I systematically fold one edge of the protector and detach the whole thing. Perhaps a partial edge would make it easier to grab?

I tested the product in one of the worst conditions: the waves of the Landes. No problem, but you must respect the 45 to 60 minutes before swimming.

As our patch has a shelf life of 14 days, it cannot be reused for your next sensor. Otherwise, we advise you to hold the sensor with your finger when you remove your patch so that you don't remove it all at once.

I can confirm that, after several installations, it's impossible to avoid the formation of creases during installation. This is due to the presence of the sensor, which is raised by about 1mm. On the other hand, the patch is very adhesive and prevents the sensor from accidentally sticking. For a more suitable design, the suggestion of making it in 2 pieces might be worth considering.
I bought a pack of tattoo patches. They look great and I really like the material. As I do a lot of sport, the edges come off a bit after a few days, but using an adhesive spray or adding bits of tegaderm fixes that! Only question: are you going to make patches for dexcom?

However, please make sure that there is 1 central piece of glassine to peel off first to stick the patch on the sensor and then the other part of the glassine in the shape of a ring to peel off afterwards to make it easier to stick without folds all around...Because when we're alone, it's particularly difficult to fit correctly and the tab you've added isn't enough to do it... Would it please be possible to find out which mutual insurance companies cover Capteur Protect? Do you plan to take out a subscription to order this product and get a discount as the price in pharmacies is rising regularly? I'm relieved to have found these protectors for the FSL2 and the omnipod covers for my very reactive daughter. I'd already tried a lot of things and she was having allergic reactions. With captor protect, there's some redness when it comes off but it calms down very quickly and doesn't turn into contact eczema. I use it systematically from now on.
Outstanding adhesion and quality. Unfortunately my son uses a Medtronic Guardian sensor... we need slightly larger patches because of the thickness of the transmitter. The model for Freestyle is a bit small and we have to use 2... it adds up quickly! (because you have to pay for quality....)
